Calcipotriol was the first vitamin D analogue which was developed for pharmaceutical application and is now formulated in different pharmaceutical forms, such as lotion, cream, ointment or in new innovative formulations which are in development (see Akvano® from Lipidor AB, for example).
Cerbios can supply both Calcipotriol Anhydrous as well as Calcipotriol Monohydrate.
USE
Calcipotriol is used for the therapeutical treatment of psoriasis.
It is used alone or in combination with betamethasone dipropionate, a corticosteroid, for the topical treatment of mild to moderate plaque psoriasis in adult patients.
